Robb Derringer was born in Palo Alto, California. He studied at the Foothill Theatre Conservatory in Los Altos California before receiving his Bachelor’s degree from UCLA's School of Theater, Film and Television acting program. Upon graduation from UCLA, Robb was invited to become a member of the award-winning dance troupe, Diavolo Dance Theatre. His work with Diavolo included acclaimed runs at the Edinburgh International Festival and Fringe, (Winner Critics Choice Award) and Los Angeles Dance Kaleidoscope. Robb began his career as a professional actor in 1995 and has been a familiar face on television and in feature films for over 25 years. You might recognize him from his wide ranging body of work in projects such as Breaking, (2022 Sundance Jury Prize, Best Ensemble) Queen America, Stumptown, Agents Of Shield, AJ and the Queen, The Exes, CSI’s Las Vegas, Miami and New York, The Odd Couple, NCIS, Air Force One, Beverly Hills 90210, General Hospital and Days Of Our Lives. (2018 Daytime Emmy nominated, Best Guest Performance) Robb has also continued to work creatively in the professional Theater. He has performed with companies such as Pacific Resident Theatre, The Odyssey Theatre Ensemble, The Whitefire Theatre and The New American Theatre, with leading performances in plays such as The Time Of Your Life, Of Mice And Men, Othello, The Trip Back Down, Prelude To A Kiss and The Blue Dahlia. Robb is also a prolific poet and writer, and has been published in various national magazines, blogs and trade publications. In 2012 Robb was the adapter and primary creative force behind a stage adaptation of John Steinbeck's timeless novel Sweet Thursday. He resides in Los Angeles and is an avid bibliophile, pilot, motorcyclist, surfer and outdoors-man.
